Sylvia Jeffreys shares cryptic post hinting at exciting news
Today reporter Sylvia Jeffreys has left fans speculating a baby is on the way after she posted a cryptic New Year’s Eve post.
On Sunday, Sylvia reflected on her year in an Instagram post, looking back on her highlights of 2017 including when she married Peter Stefanovic in April in Kangaroo Valley.
The 31-year-old posted a detailed caption accompanied with a photo with her husband from their wedding.
“Saying I do to this wonderful, hilarious, handsome man was my undisputed favourite moment of 2017....and life, so far,” she wrote.
“But standing at the alter, watching our friends and family sing along to our nominated hymn (Wonderwall by N. Gallagher) ran a very close second.
“The most brilliant part: knowing the best is yet to come with Pete at my side. Signing off for the year as I set my alarm for tomorrow morning. The beginning of an exciting year.
“Sending big love and best wishes to all for a happy, healthy and peaceful 2018. Because maybeeeeeee......,” she concluded, quoting their wedding song.
Some of Sylvia’s cues led many fans to question if the TV star was hinting that she is pregnant.
One fan wrote, “Hmmm, What rhymes with maybeeeeee???? Lovely couple. Happy New Year.”
Another commented, “I have a feeling the patter of little feet is coming in 2018 for you and Peter…”
One also said, "Maybe...baby?"
This is not the first-time Sylvia has been the target of baby rumours.
When she graced the cover of Australian Women’s Weekly for the Christmas edition she told the magazine, “We'd love a house full of kids."
However, she previously spoke to News.com.au saying that she doesn’t have “anything in the oven at the moment” and that she is still focusing on her career. “One day yes, but your guess is as good as mine,” she said.
