Inside Today host Georgie Gardner's $4.2M Sydney home

It’s a matter of new job, new house for Today show host Georgie Gardner and husband Tim Baker, who have ditched their $4.2 million Artarmon home in Sydney's lower north shore, amid talk of an upgrade to close by suburb Mosman.

The couple have been based at their Federation bungalow in Artarmon since 2010 when they bought it for $1.95 million.

Gardner took up co-hosting duties next to Karl Stefanovic this year after Lisa Wilkinson left to join The Project at Channel Ten.

Gardner and Baker have hit the house hunting trail in Mosman with a budget of about $6 million and real estate agents have been told the search is now over.

Meanwhile, insiders say telco boss-turned-fund manager James Spenceley and his wife Viktoria have scored about $7.7 million on their Mosman residence, given their move a few doors away to their $12.5 million house on the Cremorne waterfront.

James Spenceley and his wife Viktoria have sold their Mosman home.

McGrath’s Michael Coombs declined to reveal the sale price, but was expected to be gifted Spenceley’s 2088 Mosman number plates if it sold for more than $7.5 million.

The buyer was visiting from China during the Golden Week holiday.
