Grant Denyer serenades one of Australia's oldest Deal or No Deal contestants

In the latest feelgood episode of Deal or No Deal, 94-year-old contestant  Phyllis Goldsack was given the chance to win $100,000.

As one of the oldest contestants on the show, Phyllis kept everyone entertained as she challenged the banker.

In one particularly sweet moment, game show host Grant Denyer serenaded her with a special song.

A clip of the moment was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption: "We're not crying, you're crying,"  and the crying emoji.

"Okay the deal is, if I serenade you, with the song of your choosing, you get $800 from my pocket," Grant told Phyllis in the show.

The audience were touched when Phyllis revealed that her late husband only ever sang her one song when he proposed, You Are My Sunshine.

"Should we do it one more time maybe?" Grant asked Phyllis who eagerly replied: "yes, you sing it for me".

The crowd joined in and serenaded the 94 year old.

“Thank you, you know you have made me feel so happy,” she told Grant.

Although Phyllis did not win the $100,000, she went home $9,255 richer, which was the best offer she received from the banker.

“That’s why I do this show!” Grant said.
