Baby Bump: Karl and Jasmine celebrate one year of marriage with throwback photos and big news
After a star-studded wedding in Mexico in 2018, Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine Stefanovic are celebrating 12 months of marital bliss.
Jasmine, 35, took to Instagram to dedicate a sweet anniversary post to her hubby alongside a gallery of throwback photos from their wedding day.
"Happy Anniversary my love! Such a beautiful journey with you. I'm so lucky to be navigating this world with you by my side. I love you," she wrote.
The lavish wedding of Today star Karl and TV personality Jasmine began with a bang when they welcomed all their guests to drinks in Cabo just a week before they tied the knot.
They both said “I do” on Saturday December 8, 2018 in front of a crowd of 200.
The 45-year-old Nine presenter and the shoe designer's ceremony was held at the luxurious One&Only Palmilla resort.
There were a number of Australian stars in attendance including Today's Tim Gilbert, Peter Stefanovic, Sylvia Jeffreys, Julie Bishop and her partner David Panton, model Montana Cox, skateboarder Corbin Harris, English TV presenter Louise Roe, as well as Karl's three children — Jackson, 20, Ava, 14, and River, 13.
Jasmine wore a bespoke gown with a detachable skirt by Australian designer J. Andreatta and Karl donned a Tom Ford suit with R.M Williams boots.
"We had the best time at your party…. the wife and I thank you very much. Love you guys," wrote Nova radio star Tim Blackwell alongside a casual-morning after selfie with the bride and groom.
Karl and Jasmine's 1st wedding anniversary comes in the midst of the TV anchor getting ready to return as co-host Today in 2020 alongside 60 Minutes reporter Allison Langdon.
"Going back to the Today Show is not something that I thought would come up again. I thought my time was up but then when I was sounded out about it, it got me thinking,” Karl admitted to Nine.
"It's a big job with enormous pressures and I know only too well some of those pitfalls, but it is also without question is the best live job in Australia.
He continued, "I've loved 60 Minutes and the team there who have been so generous and supported me, but for me the best way to use the skills I have is the live show format and I missed the Today Show, I missed it a lot."
Not only are Karl and Jasmine celebrating one year together, but reportedly a pregnancy as well!
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford announced the two are expecting on Perth radio show 6PR Breakfast with Millsy & Baz on Monday morning, saying he he'd received confirmation they were pregnant.
“We’ve got confirmation that Karl Stefanovic is becoming a dad, Jasmine is pregnant,” Ford said.
“They had the baby shower on the weekend, which is kind of a giveaway sign.
“He’s about to make his big comeback, and now all the excitement of a new baby on the way.
“Good luck to them.”
A photograph of Jasmine sporting what appeared to be a baby bump also appeared on social media with a shower attendee saying over Instagram story
“I love baby showers".
Another friend posted Mrs Stefanovic with a baby emoji.
