Major blunder in season two of The Crown

The Crown has developed a reputation as a series that has serious attention to detail, but one eagle-eyed fan of the Netflix drama has spotted a serious continuity error.

The blunder, which occurs briefly during a season two scene that’s set in 1957.

The scene features a modern block of houses with UPVC windows in clear view of the Cadogan Terrace, even though these houses were not around until the 1960s.

"It's a lovely old street with beautiful old cars and then in the background there is this big modern block," viewer Rebecca Robins told the Daily Mail.

"It's amazing it wasn't spotted and removed. They'd gone to such lengths to make it look good with old cars and no road markings, it was a pity to see the scene ruined."
