Put your phone on airplane mode while charging

This is the easiest way to speed up the charging process. By switching your phone to Airplane or Flight mode, it shuts off your phone’s connection to all those services (wi-fi, bluetooth, cellular) that still suck power from your battery, even when you’re not using the device. Just remember that switching to airplane mode means you won’t be able to receive any calls or texts so don’t do it when you’re expecting an important call!

Charge from the wall socket instead of your laptop or computer

Charge from the wall socket using the official charger that came with your smartphone rather than a USB port on your computer or other devices. Wall chargers have a stronger amp output than USB ports and will charge your phone faster, sometimes almost an hour more quickly.

Keep your hands off the phone while charging

You know what they say about a watched kettle…well a similar principle applies here. If you’re constantly checking your phone, that big, bright screen is going to work against battery charging.
