Kid desperate for Wi-Fi sends adorable letter to neighbours

A US kid whose mum banned him from the Internet for the summer has come up with an ingenious way to get access to Wi-Fi. Desperate to get back online, he sent a letter to his neighbours asking for their Wi-Fi password, stating his case and even offering something in return.

The amused neighbour loved the letter so much, they shared it to Reddit on Monday, conceding that after reading it, they were “tempted to do it”.

“'Hello dear stranger,” the kid wrote. “Would you supply me with your WiFi passcode?

“Parent will not let me use any Wi-Fi the whole summer. (She is Asian so yea...). Just leave the passcode here and stick the note near your mailbox. Simple!

“Sincerely, person who got dared to do this (money is on the line here!)”

The ever-polite boy went on to offer his expertise in the game Hearthstone, citing his high rank as proof of his prowess. Clearly he’s learnt young that nothing comes for free!
