Kate Ritchie's daughter looks just like her
After keeping her out of the spotlight for some time, Kate Ritchie has shown her lookalike daughter Mae in a series of Instagram posts over the past few months.
Her most recent snap shows the pair (looking so much alike – those eyes!), with a touching tribute from the 39-year-old on life with her three-year-old daughter.
“I thought the love of my life was Home and Away,” she wrote this week on Instagram. “Then I met this perfect being. It’s been a long road but I am so proud and so happy that I gave myself the chance to realise my greatest life achievements didn’t all have to be thanks to Sally Fletcher. Thank you for having me @homeandaway and Sally #ifyourereadingthis I miss you every day.”
The post coincides with the 30-year anniversary of Home and Away hitting our screens, starring Kate Ritchie as the young Sally Fletcher.
Kate dated rugby league star Stuart Webb for a year before they became engaged in 2009, marrying in 2010. The pair had their daughter Mae in 2014.
