Internet goes crazy over this dad joke
Every dad – no matter how serious or strict – seems to have their own quirky sense of humour. It’s such an established cliché that there’s even a name for their particular brand of wit – the “dad joke”. But this one has to be the best yet.
Joe Pellatt from Michigan in the US has won himself legions of fans after his daughter Raylin tweeted the hilarious Facebook message he shared for her birthday.
Speaking to 9Honey, Raylin had no idea the post would be such a hit. “I thought it was cool when it reached 50 likes and it’s insane to think how many people have seen it since then! I’ve had people following me on Instagram and Twitter from all over the world!”
As for her dad? He couldn’t be happier. “My dad’s reaction has been the funniest!” she said. “He keeps texting me asking me what number we’re at and telling me I need to add this to my resume so I can get a job after graduation this year.”
