“Total disaster!”: The Footy Show slammed by viewers again

The new NRL Footy Show has been again savaged by viewers after the signal and sound repeatedly cut out mid-broadcast on Thursday night.

Taking to social media, fans voiced their disappointment with the show, which has struggled in the ratings since Erin Molan replaced Paul 'Fatty' Vautin as the show's host.

“They can't even get the mics [sic] working. This is a joke,” one man said.

“Never thought Fatty was any good but he held it all together… what a total disaster. Obviously Channel 9 you don't watch rugby league anymore,” a second viewers wrote.

The revamped show which saw expectant mother Erin take to the helm has suffered plummeting ratings since its debut, averaging just 82,000 viewers in Sydney.

Three weeks into the new format, the show is still unable to win over former fans of the show.

“Funny the broadcast goes to sh*t when the NRL Footy Show comes on,” one man said on Thursday night.

“What a great start to the show, can't even [hear] what they're saying, stupid sound keeps cutting out,” another viewer said.

“Why do we need to watch somebody who has never played the game and can only sit there and giggle. Just too annoying to watch anymore,” one critic said.
