Cricketer Michael Bevan's daughter chases her dream
Michael Bevan might have become a household name for his exploits on the cricket pitch, but it seems like his daughter Liv is set to become a star in her own right, in a slightly different field.
“Ever since I could talk, I was singing and I always loved performing,” Liv told 9Honey.
Liv’s parents soon allowed her to start singing lessons, and she’s never looked back.
“I love performing because it’s just mine; it’s my thing and it makes me feel really good about myself,” she explains.
And soon, Liv realised singing was more than a hobby.
“I went to University and studied PR and realised one day, on a bus ride into the city, that I didn't want to be like a lot of people around me who were going to jobs that they didn't enjoy,” she tells 9Honey.
Her obsession has culminated in an appearance on The Voice.
“Having people close to me who are successful inspires me and gives me the strength to aim high, too,” she explains.
