Nicole Kidman's secret turmoil: “I spent my whole life trying to get pregnant”

Nicole Kidman, 51, has gotten refreshingly candid in a new interview with Australian Women’s Weekly about her relationship and what life was like before she had met her husband, Keith Urban, also 51.

Kidman revealed that before she met her now-husband, she had spent most of her life desperately trying to fall pregnant.

“I had spent my whole life trying to get pregnant,” she explained.

She has also admitted that she was itching to meet the person who she was going to spend the rest of her life with, and so was Urban.

“We both were desperate to find that person [to have children with],” she said.

“We'd also reached that place of going, 'Gosh, I wonder if it's ever going to happen.'

The pair have been married for 13 years and have two daughters together – Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8.

Kidman recently opened up to Vanity Fair about her unpopular parenting techniques, which includes not letting the girls have an Instagram account.

“They don’t have a phone and I don’t allow them to have an Instagram.”

“I try to keep some sort of boundaries," the actress shared.

In the same interview, the Aussie star also revealed some information about the children she had adopted in her 11-year marriage with Tom Cruise – Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24.

“Bella lives just outside London,” Kidman revealed. She also spoke about the link that Isabella has to the UK.

“You know, she really feels more English. We lived there for Eyes Wide Shut, Mission Impossible and The Portrait of a Lady. They both had English accents when they were little.”
