Hugh Jackman reveals secret to happy marriage: "It's powerful, but simple"
For two major figures in a notoriously fickle industry, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness’ relationship is one of the great success stories. In a tell-all interview on Ellen, the 49-year-old superstar opened up on their secret to success.
"You've got to find the right person," Hugh said.
"It's powerful, but simple."
Jackman was quick to admit that it isn’t always easy.
"When you're dating, you put on the best version of yourself. On the dance floor, you're like, I'm pulling out my best moves, I've got my best clothes on," he said.
"[But] how do you transition from that person to truly being yourself? The tracksuit-pant version of yourself."
"There was something that clicked between us right away," he added.
"It was the feeling you get when you sense this connection that tells you this is the kind of woman you want in your life."
