Rebel Wilson gives emotional tell-all interview after legal win
Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson has given an emotional tell-all interview with Melissa Doyle on Sunday Night, following her lawsuit against Bauer Media.
The full interview, which is set to air on Channel 7 this Sunday, is the first time Wilson has be able to address the Australian public about her lawsuit against the publisher, where she was accused by Bauer of lying about her real name, age and childhood in eight separate articles published across Women’s Day and OK! Magazine.
"They have no idea how actually brutally hard it is," she said.
"Yes I am an actress and I am in the public eye, but I'm a human being."
In October, the judge presiding over the case awarded Wilson a record $4.5 million in damages, but Bauer Media is reportedly taking steps to appeal the decision.
Wilson pulled no punches about the experience, opening about how painful it was to be “bullied” by the media organisation at the very peak of her Hollywood career.
