Your favourite Australian TV legends have been immortalised on postage stamps
They’ve been a fixture on our screens for decades, and now some of Australia’s favourite TV stars can be stuck to your mail too.
Five small screen legends will be available on $1 stamps, including Bert Newton, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Ray Martin, Denise Drysdale and Daryl Somers.
Each stamp features a picture of the celebrities from their heyday next to a current photo. The caption above reads ‘Australian Legends.’
Patti Newton took to Instagram to share a snap of the stamps at the launch, captioning the image, “Very thrilled for these Legends to have their own stamp congratulations x”.
She later shared a shot of Kerri-Anne, Ray, herself and Bert together at the Official Australia Day Luncheon, which launched the stamps.
It seems the five TV legend of them have got celebrity status licked. The stamps are available online and at Australia Post shops. Will you be buying some?
