Take a sneak peek: Inside Prince Charles and Camilla’s royal home

A new set of photos show royal fans a rare glimpse into the home of Prince Charles and Camilla, Clarence House.

While Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are hosting Netherland’s King Wellem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, the couple invited them for tea in the Morning Room.

Charles and Camilla moved into the royal abode a year after the Queen Mother’s died in 2002.

The couple have decorated the Morning Room with various portraits of the Queen Mother and some of her belongings.

In the photo, Camilla can be seen slightly covering a portrait of a young Prince Harry, that sits alongside an artwork depicting the Queen Mother.

In the Morning Room there are also two teal-covered bergère armchairs, part of an upholstered suite of giltwood seat furniture by Thomas Chippendale from 1773.

The armchairs once belonged to King George IV and boast elegant moulded frames.

In the two cabinets either side of the fireplace is a vast collection of Chelsea botanical porcelain, as well as a mantelpiece clock that previously belonged to Queen Charlotte.

Clarence House largely still reflects the taste of the Queen Mother as it was home to her for nearly 50 years, from 1953 to 2002.

The Queen and Prince Philip lived at the residence when they were first married and Prince Charles lived there until the age of 3.

Prince William also lived there from 2003 until his 2011 marriage to Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry lived there from 2003 until 2012.
