Rare Beatrix Potter illustrations revealed

The works of Beatrix Potter have entertained children for generations, and now we have even more beautiful illustrations to enjoy thanks to a recent discovery. A collection of Potter’s lost drawings and personal belongings were auctioned last week at Sotheby’s in London, revealing even more about the iconic author.

  2. “Kitten Warming her Paws by the Kitchen Fire”, sold for $21,000
  3. Prince Charles’ 1904 edition of “The Tales of Beatrix Potter”
  4. “A Happy Pair”, c. 1890
  5. A rabbit in a blue jacket walking in snow toward a cottage
  6. The final scene from “The Rabbits Christmas Party”, sold for $500,000 in 2008
  7. First edition of “The Tale of Peter Rabbit”
