Princess Mary turns photographer for son’s 12th birthday

Princess Mary isn’t letting her duties as a Danish royal stop her from becoming her family’s personal photographer.

The Danish royal family celebrated Princess Mary’s son, Prince Christian’s, 12th birthday – which he celebrated on October 15, by releasing a photo of him taken by Mary herself.

The photo shows Prince Christian smiling on a deck chair aboard a yacht while looking directly into the camera.

Crown Prince Christian is the eldest of Princess Mary’s and Crown Prince Fredrik’s four children.

The royals also have 10-year-old Princess Isabella and twins, six-year-old Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent.

It’s not the first time Princess Mary’s passion for photographing her children has been revealed.

In February, the family went on a skiing trip to Verbier in Switzerland where the young royals were snapped by their mum enjoying the snow.

Duchess Kate is another royal who has also showcased her photography skills through the release of official portraits of her young family.

Kensington Palace released an adorable photo of Princess Charlotte for her second birthday which was taken by Kate.
