Incredible optical illusion makes 2D drawings appear 3D

Serbian artist Nikola Čuljić has stumped the internet after creating an optical illusion with his 2D drawing.

The artist draws realistic images that appear as if they are popping out of the paper and the technique, which has even been used by Leonardo da Vinci in Leonardo’s Eye, is called anamorphosis.

Anamorphic drawings are images that have a distorted perspective that require the viewer to use a specific vantage point to reconstitute the image.

The artist uploaded a video to YouTube to explain the trick to his work.
