Where: The Edge Cafe at Mooloolaba Wharf opposite SeaLife, Mooloolaba

What: A small group of over 60 women who crochet, knit, and craft. Share ideas, patterns, as we make for self, family, friends or charity. It’s a lovely cafe with great views and a lovely comfortable area is set aside at the back of the cafe.

For those who enjoy a coffee and a chat: Cuppa catch-up, Victoria

When: 10.30 to 11.30am, Saturday 21 January

Where: The Main Café Bar and Restaurant, 4 Wheelers St, Berwick

What: Judy is looking to start a meet up for coffee and conversation. She says, “Life does not need to be boring, share ideas and experiences together. Hope to see you there.”

For those wanting to mix fitness and friendship: Bushwalking group, New South Wales

When: 8.00am – 10.00am, Saturday 28 January

Where: Lackey Street side, Lake Parramatta Reserve, North Parramatta, NSW

What: Get physical and meet some new people at the same time with this bushwalking group for over50s. The group meets outside Lake Parramatta Café at 8am sharp, where they walk the Lake Parramatta circuit walk. The walk is 4.2 kilometre but is relatively easy. Bring water and wear walking shoes.
