A stunning collection of dog portraits (or “pawtraits” if you will) is capturing much more than the dog’s faces. Photographer Ken Drake’s new coffee table book Pawtraits reveals our canine friends' personalities in his signature stylised yet candid photos. Set against a black background, the pooches’ unique characters shine through in these beautiful pictures.

“It is our passion, our soul, our life – every pet deserves to be celebrated and have their story told!” says Drake, who has photographed over 8,000 pets through his pet photography company Zoo Studio.
